Students who are accepted into the Vocational Nursing program may be eligible for a $250 tuition credit for previously completing related education within the last 5 years. This includes the following courses:
- Vocational or practical nursing courses completed at a BVNPT approved vocational program.
 - Registered nursing courses completed at a BRN approved RN or pre-licensure BSN program.
 - Psychiatric technician courses completed at a BVNPT approved psychiatric technician program.
 - Armed services nursing courses.
 - Certified nurse assistant courses completed at a California Dept. of Public Health approved CNA training program.
 - Other courses the school determines are equivalent to courses in the program.
 
Students must provide official transcripts from the course to be eligible for the credit. Transcripts reflecting a “B” or better in a course or courses from programs approved by the BVNPT, BRN, or CA Dept. of Public Health, as applicable, may receive a $250 tuition credit.
